Konami Digital Entertainment, Inc. is pleased to welcome all Duelists to another exciting Organized Play season for the Yu-Gi-Oh!
TRADING CARD GAME. New Yu-Gi-Oh! TCG ranking seasons begin every April
and with KDE’s COSSY system you can see where you stack up against
other top players from around the world. COSSY is the company’s global
ranking system launched in 2009.
The next few months will be filled with thrilling premier level tournaments, local
events and regionals – enough to satiate every level of Yu-Gi-Oh! TCG
The good news for players not happy with their performance in the prior Tournament Season, the COSSY
rankings reset each April! By resetting the world rankings each April,
new players have as good an opportunity to rank near the top as
seasoned players and feel a part of the Yu-Gi-Oh! TCG community. To
commemorate our launch of the 2010 global ranking system, we’re going
to award prizes to the TOP 1000 players from around
the world that participate in sanctioned Yu-Gi-Oh! TCG tournaments,
using their COSSY identification numbers.
Prizes will be given to those Duelists who participate in sanctioned
tournaments during the first Quarter of the new Tournament Season
between April 1, 2010 through June 30, 2010, and finished with a
ranking in the in the TOP 1000. To be eligible for prizes, be sure to
register your personal information at www.cossy.konami.net, so that we can mail your prize to you.
To make sure everyone gets a chance to earn their way up the rankings, KDE
needs your help. Players need to get their local stores on board with
COSSY. The more Duelists and stores involved with COSSY the better the
gaming will be for everyone involved. Players will get a real sense of
where they rate and stores that utilize COSSY will enjoy stronger
Yu-Gi-Oh! participation from their player base. Sanctioned tournaments
using KTS, such as the Regional Qualifers, count toward your rankings
too, as long as the results are submitted to KDE!
