Da-Planet's introduces the Yu-Gi-Oh Wii Challenge Series.
This
is a 5 week event where the winner takes home a brand new Nintendo
Wii.
How it works
There will be 8 Elimination Tournaments held over a period of 4
weeks. The top two (2) finishers in each tournament will receive an
invitation to play in the Wii Finals. If someone is already
qualified then their invitation will pass down. The winner of the
Wii Finals will win the Wii.
Tournament Structure
There will be four (4) Open Tournaments and four (4) Apprentice
League Tournaments, These will be Swiss Rounds Advanced
Constructed. You DO NOT have to use the same deck in all the
tournaments. Each tournament is its own unique event.

These are open to all duelists
1st Prize - 24 packs from The Duelist Genesis
2nd Prize - 4 packs from The Duelist Genesis
3rd Prize - Deck Box
4th Prize - Promo Card
Random drawing for tshirts & other stuff for those not in
top 4. |
Apprentice League - FREE
These are open to duelists NOT ranked in the Top 50 in
Hawaii.
If you qualify you may NOT play in other Apprentice League
Tournaments

You may play in as many tournaments as you want. The only
restriction is that you may NOT play in the Apprentice League events
if you have already qualified. If you qualify for the Wii Finals
from the Apprentice League you may only play in the Open
Tournaments

Wii Finals
The Wii finals will be held on Saturday December
13th at 11:00
pm. This will be made up of the 16 qualifiers. The format will
be Advanced Constructed Single elimination. There is no cost to
enter and the only prize to be given out is the Wii to the first
place finisher.
Other Rules:
Decklists will be required.
You MUST leave a $20 deposit (fully refundable IF you PLAY) by
the close of Sunday December 7th. You will LOSE this deposit if
you do not show up for the finals. The reason for this was the
amount of no-shows. You may cancel your reservation by Thursday
December 11th and get a full refund. The purpose of this is to
enable us to have enough time to get new players in.
The Judges will call this as they would a Regionals.
You MUST checking by 10:45am SHARP if you do not we
will randomly select a player to fill the spot.
There will be a FREE Win-Lotta-Packs tournament on that day as well. Players in the Wii Finals are
NOT allowed to compete in this.
